The City of Kearney Park and Recreation Department offers a diverse selection of cultural and recreational opportunities to entice visitors and resident alike.

We strive to provide quality leisure time activities including special events such as Community Olympics, Daddy/Daughter Date Night, and Heritage Day. Well over 200 recreation programs are conducted annually ranging from youth day camps to adult athletic leagues.

Kearney has 14 beautiful parks totaling 438 acres. Some of the amenities include:  lakes, hard surface trails, athletic fields and courts, amphitheaters, picnic shelters, swimming pools, and flower gardens.
